Well, Miss Mieka Moo is now 4 years old...Mieka had a great Birthday party, she had all her new friends here and their parents too! I had a little meltdown in the morning, as this was the first"occassion" party thingee that we have had since leaving New Zealand, I was in a odd place, i was really sad that I didn't have Tala (my best friend) here...as every time we have a party or whatever she is here putting in the hard yards with me, and Mark and the kids were really missed too! I was sad for mieka as she really wanted "auntie Mieka" here too, but the party must go on, we have a great new support network of friends here and are very gratefull to have them too! My neighbour and friend Carol came and helped me get thru the morning, makeing the flamin cake was a mission! and when I shared and cried about missing my best friend she stepped into overdrive...thanks Carol...Mieka had 11 friends here and they had a great time, playing games that Asia and Rihannon organised, they played pass the parcel, with each of her friends getting a gift...when the kids arrived Mieka gave each one of them a Tiarra and a necklace to tie in with her "everything is beautifull" theme...most kids came as princess's....and all the kids were princess's for sure! and Jack came as Prince Charming...go Jack!I made the cupcakes and the biscuts and the cake and was shattered afterwards...but it was so worthwhile...I was really proud of the fact I made them!!! There is also a photo of Mieka and her cake and me trying to light the candles...the wind kept blowing them out!
