Yesterday was an amazing day! a stressfull day but yet God shined through and it was amazing...
I set out for the school run as I do most mornings, dropped Asia and LJ to their school and then started to make our way home, (we being me Kahlia and Mieka). As we got closer to home not even 2km away a car travelling headon towards us, tried turning into a street infront of us! I had 2-3 secs to brake ( which locked) and we skidded into his rear passenger door at 60km an hour. The little kids were screaming and in shock and I was too! As soon as I saw the mans car pull out on fron of us I knew I wouldnt be able to miss him...I thought we were going to get seriously hurt if not die! but we got out of the car not a scratch anywhere, however this morning and last night I was so sore, my neck and back are really hurting and my arms, because as we crashed my elbows locked on the stearing wheel and took the full force of the impact. Any way the police and Ambo's and fire squad all attended, and we got the A OK, the police have indicated the the other driver failed to give way to oncoming traffic and with the witnesses testimonies he will more than likley be held responsible, he still says it was our fault even though he told me he "just didnt see me". Anyway, we are all save and his family is all safe and like me friend Beck said..."it's just a car". And all week I have been readin a scripture that talk about storing upp all your riches on earth, when they are not going to heaven with you...I think that scripture was preparing me for yesterday. When I was talking to Beck someone stopped outside my house and looked shock as they looked at our car...I had no idea who it was and just assumed that it was a sight to behold...lol.
The next issue we had to overcome was getting the car back to our house it cost $244.00 for 2km drive, I had called my friend Linda and she pick me and Kahlia up and at the same time another friend Lisa was driving past and tookMieka for me and we went to the bank and I had to use the kids School Fees to pay the Towie...oooch....but I have faith that we will get that back. I had been really worried about getting the kids to school aswell as the 4 wheel drive guzzles fuel, that was the reason we bought the little car so that we could get the kids to school on a small budget, last night at 8.45pm there was a knock at the door and it was the lady who had parked outside my house earlier that day... she said you dont know us but your son Lei and my son Timothy are in the same class at school...(the school is like from Sandringham to Glen Eden in distance for those in NZ reading this) so it blew me away that they were even on my doorstep, they said they had seen our car that afternoon, and wanted to know if they could help by taking my kids to school...wow....this family I didnt even know came to our rescue! As it turns out they live on the next sreet down. See i think things will get better soon!

Well hello Stranger! Remember me????? Just came across your name and thought - NO, this can't be the same person??!!! We have not seen each other since I left for London 1999.
Funnily enough I've thought about you in the last year and what you have been up to. Looks like you are doing really well in Aussie and your kids are absolutely gorgeous :-)
Hope all is well with you. Would love to catch up one of these days. Take care, Brenda
